On Thursday, November 9, 2023, the SEMO District Fair Association convened for its Annual Dinner Meeting. We had a great fair in 2023, and we’re thankful for the tens of thousands of community members who visited us this year. Such an event simply cannot be put on without the couple hundred-strong roster of volunteers and sponsors from the Cape Girardeau area.
During our Annual Meeting, we recognized the following volunteers and associates:

5. Lifetime Achievement Award: Charlie Mangels, with wife Verla
6. Volunteer of the Year: Robin Marberry
7. “Retiring” President of the Board, Darrell Aufdenberg, who has fulfilled two consecutive terms on the Board of Directors and has termed out
8. “Retiring” Board Member Chris Weiss, who has served two consecutive terms on the Board of Directors and has termed out
