Well, the cat is out of the bag! The 2023 SEMO District Fair entertainment announcement has arrived!
The 2023 Fair theme of “It’s Show Time” marks the end of the Summer Season with back to school, harvesting of crops, and for sure the return of the 2023 Southeast Missouri District Fair scheduled Sept 9th through the 16th at the “Fairgrounds “in Cape Girardeau.
This year’s grandstand entertainment includes:
- Sept.11 – River Radio’s HEARTLAND IDOL
- Sept. 12 – The Oak Ridge Boys
- Sept. 13 – Tracy Byrd
- Sept. 14 – Regional music favorites Steven Bankey and the Flatland Band, along with Johnny Holzum and Well Hungarians.

Two nights of Demo Derby by Thunder Valley with opening Saturday night September 9, and again for the final night of
September 16.
The Pro Pulling League Western Series will bring the action on Friday September 15 with big tractors and loud trucks.
Mouser Steel Supply Barrel Racing Extravaganza on Sunday Sept 10.
MILLER SPECTACULAR SHOWS again will provide both the latest in extreme carnival rides, as well as everyone’s favorites such as the Ferris Wheel and Carousel. The one of a kind ECLISPE maga ride will be front and center on the midway. Learn more about Miller Carnival here
