In order to facilitate all of the entries for the SEMO District Fair, we have strict deadlines for all entries. You can find the short list below, but please refer to the SEMO Fair Book for all rules and regulations pertaining to any entries. For a full schedule of all shows, visit the schedule of events page.

LIVESTOCK ENTRIES
ENTRY DEADLINE IS AUGUST 8, 2026 on official Livestock Entry Forms found in the SEMO Fair Book. See General and Livestock Rules, Animal Health Exhibition Regulations, and Department Information.
If 4-H or FFA, see also information for that division. EXHIBITORS MAY ENTER ONLINE. ALL DEADLINES WILL BE THE SAME FOR ONLINE. MANUAL LATE ENTRIES* WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO AUGUST 22. A $50.00 PER HEAD ADDITIONAL FEE WILL APPLY TO LATE ENTRIES.
ENTRY CANNOT BE MADE ONLINE AFTER THE AUGUST 8 DEADLINE. *LATE ENTRIES MUST BE ON PAPER ENTRY FORMS AND MAILED TO LARRY AHRENS, 901 COUNTY ROAD 373, JACKSON MO 63755 BY THE AUGUST 22 DEADLINE. THE POSTMARK DOES NOT APPLY TO THE AUGUST 22 DEADLINE.
Livestock Exhibits – Livestock have been scheduled to be on the fairgrounds daily, but species and times may vary. See arrival, show, and release schedule in the fair book for details.
NON-LIVESTOCK ENTRIES
Entries other than livestock will only be received on site Friday, September 11 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. & Saturday, September 12 between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the Arena building. These exhibits must be in place by 11:00 a.m. September 12, and will be judged Saturday afternoon.
The Official Entry Form in the SEMO Fair Book should be completed and mailed in advance so entry tags will be ready for pick-up September 11 & 12 during the hours listed. This will avoid your waiting in line for entry tags. See also General Rules and Department information. If 4-H or FFA, see information for that division.
