THERE'S NO TIME LIKE FAIR TIME!
The SEMO District Fair was built around the American farming family, and even though our world has become much more diverse than our crops, we are still family-centered throughout the fair.
From our carnival rides to the diverse fair foods, there’s a LOT for families to do together!
There really are a lot of cool things going on every day at the fair. Swing by the Missouri Department of Conservation building and check out some native Missouri plants, animals and fish, and shake a finger with Smokey Bear. Check out the antique tractors, and swing by the big, new model tractors near the livestock area to see the wow factor on the kids’ faces. Professor Newton’s brought an exciting Science Show to the North Fairgrounds. Carnival rides abound, and with great specials on arm bands, you can load up on fun.
There are performing artists roaming the fairgrounds, shows along the streets and so much to check out, you may want to come early or take a couple of days!
For quick reference, here is some more information on the daily entertainment. Swing down by the ag area for Cow Town USA Heritage Museum & Petting Corral. Farmer Ed and friends brings family fun and laughter to the north fairgrounds with Ready, Set, Grow! Farmer Ed will also be strolling around to entertain you daily throughout the fairgrounds.
